Rachel Dawn Owens is a professional artist currently living near Richmond Virginia. She grew up in the tiny Appalachian town of Hiwassee VA where her father worked for the pigment mine and her mother worked as a nurse. She developed an obsession with color, nature, beauty, and the human form at a young age which she still holds to this day.
